


Tactical Rifle
This course begins with a review of safety protocols and an audit of each individual’s shooting fundamentals. During this course, students will be introduced to movement, use of cover and/or concealment, alternate body positions, scenario based stress fires, fighter mindset, and more.
During this class, we will discuss and then practice:
Reflexive firing
Clearing stoppages
Finding and using cover and concealment to your advantage
Shooting while moving
Maximizing angles and non-dominant hand shooting
Engaging multiple targets and breaking contact
Time requirement for this class:
4 to 6 hours
Who may attend the class?
All U.S. citizens, age 18+, that can legally own/purchase/possess a firearm. NOTE: You MUST be 21 years of age to pursue your CCW permit for Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Any student of Victory Promotions who has completed the Basic Pistol or Intro to AR-platform training course.
Any veteran of the United States Armed Forces or retired police officer, please submit your credentials in advance to victoryproccw@gmail.com
What you must bring?
A semi-automatic rifle of an AR or AK variant. Firearms must meet requirements and function properly. The instructor has the right to decommission a firearm at any time, for the remainder of the class.
A minimum of 300 rounds of ammunition for the rifle, chambered in 5.56x45, 5.45x39, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, etc.
Sling that is securely attached to the rifle.
A minimum of three magazines. The easier you can access the spare magazine(s), the better.
Eye and ear protection. Sunglasses or reading glasses are acceptable. Ear protection must be either the muff style headphone or plastic molded plugs.
Hiking shoes or boots, we will be moving around so make sure to be nimble.
Clothing suitable for conditions. If it’s cold, dress in layers and we will shoot in the rain.
Optional equipment
Bug spray or sunscreen
Snacks and/or water
Plate carrier or chest rig with magazine pouches
Reflex sight or magnified optics
Sound suppressor
Kneepads
Small backpack or fanny pack
