First of all, thank you for visiting our website! A little about me:

I have been instructing self defense classes since 2015 and first recall shooting a handgun around the age of 9. Now, I have 30 years of firearm experience that I bring to the classes. I was in high school when the 9/11 attacks occurred and once I graduated high school, I enlisted with the Wisconsin National Guard. In 2004, I was activated to active duty and deployed to Samarra, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Unfortunately, an injury that affected both knees forced me get out of the military.

Over the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege to meet a lot of people and share my knowledge and experience of firearms and self defense. In the beginning of the company, teaching pistol courses was a way for me to polish my public speaking skills and frankly speaking, I struggled to talk in front of people. This was a way for me to talk about something I was passionate about, with like-minded people.

I currently reside in Rochester, Minnesota. My full-time job is serving as an Analysis Supervisor. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, traveling and being a dance dad for my daughter. I am a lifetime member of the VFW and recently retired board director for the Rochester Dance Company. #dancedad
